Took a mid-afternoon drive to Bolton today and (as usual) found a good mix of raptors hunting over the fields near the junction of highways 427 and 7. Spotted two rough-legged hawks, a northern harrier and several red-tails at that spot and then more just to the north along highway 50. This has got to be one of the best raptor-viewing areas in the GTA, particularly in winter.

Where would one park in that area? Is there a place where the raptors could be viewed from the car or is it a hike to a more natural surroundings to see them?

I've done all of my viewing from the car. I would suggest looking for sideroads on a map, or driving around the area and scouting out a good spot.
