Dry Tortugas outside of Key West would be a place I would like to visit for seabird colonies etc.

Hi "farmer".  Re: Nassau ... I can't recommend this following place enough!!!  Visited there last January.  It's an amazing feeling hand feeding the Lory Parrots and seeing Caribbean Flamingos walking around the grounds.

Thanks!
Did you know "tortuga" in spanish means turtle, and that is what the island fort looks like from the air is a turtle! - cool.
It looks like that will be too far from key west for the time we have. We may go for a kayak trip throught the mangroves, we should see some birds there.
Joanne, Adrastra looks very interesting, if we have time we'd like to go there. I think the kids would enjoy it too.
