On Saturday morning, I will be out looking for Owl's in the Winona/Grimsby area. I think that the two main places to go would be the Saltfleet side roads and to Fifty Point. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Are there specific times that are best to find Owl's? Where do you often find them in a forest?
I am also looking for Winter Birds, Buntings and Crossbills in particular. What are some common traits that they use, and that would help me find them?

Check last week's Hamilton report on Ontbirds and watch for this week's, as well. Following the report, I found Snow Buntings and Horned Larks across the road from the Dyment's Farm in Flamborough today. Watch for the little guys feeding with the geese.
