Probably the closest I've been to a Hawk ever. I think my exposure was set a bit high but in the moment, with no idea how long this Hawk was going to hang around, I just started snapping away. I'm happy with them but more so how much time I got to watch him in the tree and even hunt in the brush right in front of me.

Nicely done Rob!

Thanks!
John, how'd yours turn out when I ran into you, and most likely the same Hawk, about 30 mins after this? He was something to watch, eh.

Great shots. I especially like the first.
Thanks for posting.

After reading the comments from some others through John's (Zed) post of his pics. I am once again confused.
While I took these pics about a half hour before running into John and what was most likely the same Hawk (it went the same way as me); I was certain about it being a Sharpie. It was quite small (so I thought).
I am happy for the up close sighting regardless. But thanks to those more knowledgeable on clearing this up.
