Title: Juvenile Shrike
Post by: Stephanie on January 29, 2011, 10:09:55 PM
I was walking around the Humber Arboretum this afternoon when this little guy flew across my path. He landed in the bushes just 20 feet from me. I wasn't birding at the time and didn't have my usual camera, but my trusty old PowerShot SX100 pulled this off:

I love our SX100.  The best point/shoot ever.  And lucky you for such an awesome sighting!  I'm still looking to see my first Shrike ever.

Thanks all! It was quite a shock to see another shrike (especially such a people-friendly one) only 9 days after finding my first at Colonel Sam.
