Title: Big Snow ???
Post by: Halton Hills on February 01, 2011, 02:40:36 PM
.

Batten down the hatches.......looks like we're going to get our first real blow in a couple of years.

The cobwebs have been cleaned off the snowthrower........it's fueled up and ready to go........  :)

A few flurries came through in front of the main storm........with the heavy stuff not far behind.

My wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare.

If it gets much worse out there.........I may have to let her in.

Now that our

first real blow in a couple of years.
Is over and done with whew am I out of breath

from shoveling the mess that the plow left.  I Carpooled there and took the GoGo bus home. I guess everyone was so pre-occupied with

with the

that they forgot to go to work. No traffic on the commute to work or home.

We were stuck behind a group of plows for 25 Km this morning which was a bit painful but we were still in at work by 6:15 am.

HH  I hope the Dryer was set at Delicate :!:  Wouldn't want to damage the Duvet.

Isn't it funny

The snow we are getting right now looks to be as much or more than we got on Wednesday?

The forecast this morning read 1-2 cm.  Now it is 15 cm. It is comming down pretty heavy right now

You know, I've had the weather network on....and they were telling me that it's sunny and hot in Ayton, and I'm looking out the window at pouring rain...and thinking ummm....do they just kinda draw this stuff outta the hat ?

Re: Environment Canada...my neighbour used to be one of the EC weather stations....they still have the contraptions...

Duh :!:   I guess so.

I looked at the radar at 1:00 pm yesterday and said Where did that come from? We had company from the Niagara region and they decided to head home early.
