Title: Frozen Dinner

came upon this rough-legged hawk,going over this carcass,under very adverse conditions.
the first shot depicts the conditions for the day.had to wait between white-outs to get some decent pics.

couldn,t get the whole bird in,but wanted to show the beautiful wrist band

Denis .. your IF shots leave me breathless!!  How close were you in the 2nd shot .. it's super too!! Could you tell what it was having for "dinner" ?

not sure what was on the menu.i creeped up to about 30-35 ft.

no he didn,t save me any.actually i saw this hawk at this carcass,for almost a week,but was unable to get close till now.

Beautiful shots - my favourite is number 1.
