Hi everyone. I was walking around Lake Aquitaine between 10am - 12 noon and sighted the following:
Blue Jays x 5
Cardinals x 4 (2m, 2f)
Chickadees - lots
Goldfinches x 2
House Finches x 8
House Sparrows - lots
Juncos x 4
Mockingbird x 1
Mourning Doves - a few
Red-breasted Nuthatches x 2
Robins x 4
The Blue Jays, Cardinals and Mockingbird were at the East end of the lake, right in front of me, eating shelled peanuts that were being tossed to the squirrels. Quite a pleasant surprise to have the Mockingbird come up so close. :D
Lake Aquitaine: SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.

Much more activity there than just south of you at Lake Wabukayne .. all the birds went to Aquitaine .. I was there at about 2:00PM .. no birds .. 2 sparrows and about 30 mallards and a few Am. Black ducks in the very small bit of open water.

Hi Sue. Thanks for the update. I've been meaning to wander down to Wabukayne for about the past 2 weeks but maybe I'll wait until the warmer weather!

Oh, just remembered ... Feb. 18-21, GBBC. I will be at Wabukayne on one of those four days. Can't wait! :D
