We went to the Fisherville / Nanticoke area with SPNC (Mark led the way). We saw many Bald Eagles, Red tails, Shrike, Rough-legged , Snow buntings , Horned larks, Merlin and Short Eared Owls. It was a very successful outing.
There were at least 4 Short Eared sitting in this tree.

Two were in this pine and another was sitting on a pile of logs.

Nice owl shots, I was surprised to seem them sitting out int the open like that. Did any of the rough-leg and eagle shots turn out good?

Great shots. I really like the environment in #2 - beautiful. I'm thinking of going as well. Would you recommend it? I would think so, given your photos.
