Typical day for me at the Spit.
I came across a Snow Bunting that was different plumage than I usually see and there was something BIG in the air far away from me around 4PM as I headed back. Super heavy crop of it below. My best guess is a juvi bald eagle. You have a guess? It was a cold afternoon out there - I hardly saw anyone else!

Some very nice birds here! Defenitely a bald eagle.

who would have thought that the spit would be empty. i've pretty much given up on it.
