I took a sick day today when I woke up with a screaming headache and a fully stuffed head and decided to sit out on the back deck in teh sunshie and try to enjy a bit of a nap. While I sat there enjoying the local wildlife I spotted 3 male BlueJays and 2 Male Cardinals flying around and keeping an eye on me.
My neighbor swears he has a pair of Mockingbirds preparing to nest in his cherry tree so we're going to let it settle in before we approach with a camera. No point scaring it off before it gets settled. He has a few berry producing trees with fruit left on them that it seems has brought them around so here's hoping I get a new feathered neighbor.
