We Stayed home today and kept an eye on our backyard feeders, we were supprised to see
a flock of common Redpolls show up, the first time we saw them here, there were about 25 of them
also there were Goldfinches, and Juncos, as well as the usual Blue Jays, Cardinals, Sparrows
Chickadees, and Morning Doves

Thanks Gary, yes we were very lucky to have them visit for the first time
hope they return.

Very lucky to have so many at your feeder. We only recently found some at Rattray Marsh .. but on 2 subsequent trips .. none . I have Nyger seed in my feeders all the time, but get only Sparrows , Juncos and Finches. Guess they just don't come our way. :(

I've had 2 in erindale and 1 in riverwood over the weekend, so it is still very possible for them to show up at new feeders... or at least thats what I'm hoping! :D

I'm envious of your back yard Reg! Those Redpolls are beautiful little birds.

Thanks guys, it sure was a surprise, and nice to see them, they are beautiful little birds
They didn't show up today, at least not while we were home, but a (Sharp-Shinned Hawk) I think?? did
show up this morning, and sat on my Gazebo frame for a while, so i'm guessing that may have
had something to do with it.

Not so good a shot, I had to take it through two glass doors because it was right outside my patio door

Yes, looks like a Sharp-shin.
