Its been nice having lots of Redpolls showing up this winter

Just beautiful! What lovely color and detail! Very well done, Scott...
I've yet to get close to any of these gentle fellows. Redpolls seem to hate me like poison, as do snow buntings and most sparrows. But maybe one of these days I'll catch a handsome redpoll unawares and snap up his feathered elegance just like you did!

Scott ... simply gorgeous ! You , Harvey and Angie seem to have a monopoly on Redpolls this year. Due to numerous factors, we haven't been fortunate enough to get any excellent shots such as yours! Certainly a joy to see such beautiful close ups. Will have to plant an Alder in our back yard .. the nyger feeder is attracting mostly Sparrows!! :(
