A few of the Long-eared Owls I have encountered this winter. The pics are heavily cropped but I like them. I hope you do too.

Well done .. love the contrast of the red berries in the 2nd one .. unusual to have one not in amongst branches. Very nice shot.

Beautiful. Even though I use my 500mm I also crop a lot so the birds "appear" closer, its kind of cool how it all works.
your second shot is lovely with the berries, it kind of frames the owl. well done.

Thanks! It was an amazing very brief moment with the second one. And this was the only picture I got. The pair was the first LEOs I had ever seen; so seeing two at once is an eternal memory.

2nd shot is gorgeous, Rob, I agree with the good folks - the berries and the owl together make for a lovely image...
