Hey
I don't know about you all but it is snowing quite heavy right now with a brisk East Wind.... 9:15 pm
Took today off
I was surprised with all the activity in and around the "hood" today considering the Temps.
Grackles, Red Wing Black Birds, Gold Finches, Junko's, Tree Sparrows , House Finches and Robins. "deafening at one point"
Many Geese as well..(since when do they fly around at night??)
I went looking around the countryside and found empty fields, Mallard's stuck to the bank of 16 mile creek trying to stay warm..Back closer to town I found
20 robins in the grass near our new Arena facility...

Plenty of life around the feeder including grackles, starlings, red winged blackbirds, chickadees, woodpeckers, male and female cardinals and a pair of mourning doves.
Shaping up to be an interesting spring, for sure.

I am hoping to get out for a litle bit today and get some shots of birds in teh snow. Tonight and tomorrow I will be at blue mountain so I am definitely going to do some spotting/shooting up there as well. Just when we thought it was over.
