Title: Screech owl, eyes open
Post by: mr.sharp-photo on March 04, 2011, 12:55:10 PM
He kept on getting flushed into the knothole by nuthatches.

Caught him on his way back out to see the light of day.

Dude i am so jealous.  i literally risk my life every day that i have a job in the country when i see some knarly old tree with a hole in it i am looking to see if i see a screech hiding in it instead of looking at the road.  But i never see one.  We need to have a east vs west friendly owl competition.  The Barred on Halls or the Lambton Screech.  I think i am 6 for 6 now for going to find the barred.   Everytime i go lately i find him.  You just look for the 5 cars on the side of the road or the ten photographers standing in the woods.

don't be a hater, Dax :)

on my way home, i was looking at the knot holes along the road. very bad habit indeed.
