Today I sighted my first sharp shinned hawk outside my feeders. It was clear it was sharpie, white patches on its back, red striped chest, smallish body form. It hung around for a long time this morning before finally catching a junco for lunch. My wife nicknamed it the stalker. I was so surprise to see it so close and out in the open. What a beautiful bird.
I will post pic soon.
