I just looked at my last years calendar notes:

RWBB's arrived at my feeders on March 9th.......temp was +12 C

BHCB's arrived on the 16th...... temp was +16 C

Today........March 6th 2011......buried in fresh 2 foot drifts...... temp -6 C

I think we're in trouble.......ughh.....

*** Note to self......increase Prozac dosage and do not read any more "SPRING IS HERE" posts until mid April ***

Title: Misery
Post by: Napper on March 23, 2011, 07:00:27 PM
The ride to work was fine all things considered. We were there by 6:00 am (carpool)

Left work at 2:30 By 4:00 I was fed up and frozen waiting for my bus at Keele. Headed for Union station. While crossing over the 401 on the Subway I spotted my bus stuck on the ramp near Yorkdale.

Used Go Train Got home at 6:30 pm.    Sigh.

I should post a picture of the snow on my deck

Hey!

I am a little confused. (it doesn't  take much)

The current weather forecast for Milton is Rain and +4

UMMM  it is snowing so heavy right now that it's blocking my sat signal     :x

It never did rain today although it showed up on the radar "Evaporation effect"

All I can say is ........ OMG

Just got home from Sunday dinner at Gammy's ...... normally a sweet ride home.

It started out pleasant enough......then a few sprinkles......then it began alternating between dry spots and torrential Amazon type rain.

Got off the highway and headed north......starts to snow lightly......then intensifies until I'm practically lost on a road I've driven down a thousand times.

The last few kilometers I actually had to drive without my lights on as I struggled to keep the car in between the ditches.

Usually in really bad conditions I may need to shut off my headlights and run with just the fogs......not tonite though.

It was snowing so hard that the only way I could make out the road at all was without any lights.

Looking outside now........everything is white again like Christmas morning.

Tomorrow will be 15 degrees.......once again...... OMG
