Hi everyone,
I managed to get down to Ashbridge's Bay this afternoon. I've never been there before so it was fun to explore a new area.
I immediately found several white-winged gulls and found them in two other places, totaling 10 WW gulls!
On my way back I heard and pursued the obvious call of a RWWB and found 2 Brown-headed Cowbirds nearby!
Anyway, here's a quick roundup:
Lakeshore Blvd & Coxwell:
2 Iceland Gulls
1 Glaucous Gull
1 probable Thayer's Gull!
Bay with these coordinates: 43.657269,-79.308865
4 Iceland Gulls, with one adult...there were probably more I can't quite remember
From the main sandy beach:
2 more Iceland Gulls flying by
Others:
~15 Common Redpolls.
1 Canvasback
2 Brown-headed Cowbirds
6 Red-winged Blackbirds
good birding,
Alvan

Nice, do you have any pics of the gulls?

Sure do. I'll post some of them later this evening on my blog.

Great. Looking forward to seeing them!

Interesting as I was there on Sunday and photographed a Crow on the ice battling some gulls for something and I noticed the gull was not the regular color pattern...so please post your pics..
