Nice list! I totally missed the heron. I saw the Shrike, Red-tail, and a nice close Horned Grebe in the narrow entrance of the bay area hanging around with a Coot, but my binos are broken so I didn't bother looking too far out. The male Buffleheads were displaying just off the beach on the east side where people feed the ducks, too. :D

Looks like everyone was there today. I had a pretty similar list in early afternoon, but added black duck, white-winged scoter, common merganser, a few scaup, a lot more grebes (9 horned and 6 red-necked), a coot, a song sparrow and a little flock of redpolls. No hooded merg or heron.

The Heron was flying over so probably not resident there.
