Post by: GBLangley on March 24, 2011, 05:46:58 AM
Hi everyone

I spend an hour at Ashbridges on 22nd at lunchtime. Apart from the lesser scaups, goldeneyes, and long-tailed ducks there were at least three Gadwall, (2m, 1F) about 6 horned grebes (one in almost summer garb) three ring-necked duck (2m 1f) and amongst all the ring-billed gulls an American Herring Gull and 2 Iceland Gulls (one a pristine adult and the other a lovely oatmeal 1st winter(?) bird.

Red-winged Blackbirds were singing in the park too.

Have a great spring
Graham
