Hey!
It was Chilly this evening while dropping off one our cubs at scout camp "Camp Manitou" on the escarpment just West of Milton. Everything is covered in a thick layer of snow  from Wednesday's "Big Blow" Courtesy of "H-H'
I decided to stick around the parking lot and was rewarded with a Red Bellied Woodpecker High in trees near the houses that surround the camp's lot. There were a few Robins about and a few Red winged Black birds. I heard heavy drumming just south of the parking spot but I never spotted the other culprit.

Hey Napster......I remember camping at Kelso as a kid during Christmas week......it was -20.....
We slept in a big Tee-Pee that didn't have a floor and piled up snow around the edges to keep us warm.....lol

I tried warning y'all about a month ago when I posted that I was going to be wary of any "Spring is Here" threads until mid-April.....

Hey
We picked up our kidlet from Camp Manitou this morning, was still pretty chilly and still lots of snow.
"H-H" they had heated cabins.
Nothing to report although I spotted a "Twitcher" near the frozen pond South of the camp with Bino's or a camera.
Turkey Vultures seem to be more abundant, spotted one near the Camp and 4 more on the way to town.
Napper :D
