Slowly but surely these guys are making there way back to their nest.
Been slow over the last few weeks, but yesterday I counted 30 birds.
They are not very active yet as it is still quite cold, and every pond and puddle is still frozen over.
But over the next few weeks they should become quite active and will be tending to the nests 24/7.

i left work 10 min late, so i missed the final few minutes of light. got to the rookery at 8:15 and i could make out the shadow of 1 circling above. i'll definitely take a look on Saturday. its a site to be seen
