Title: Even more Eastern Ontario Snow Geese - video
Post by: Kin Lau on March 30, 2011, 02:14:52 PM
We went down Tuesday morning and as reported, the number of geese are now approx 1 million. Large numbers of those will likely leave today, but it's an incredible sight.

Watch them in HD if you are able.

Quite a spectacle to say the least. At 1 1/2 minutes into the video(1st one), its funny to see a small mammal run across the view, did that scare the geese? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Yes, that was a mink, and that was what flushed the geese. The ones in the water never moved - if an eagle had flushed them, _everything_ goes into the air.
