Can we say spring is officially here now that the song sparrows are singing their hearts out at the park...

Or the Red-Necked Grebes filling our ears and eyes with the sounds and displays of courtship...

The Ringed-Necked Ducks are still on the pond, playful as ever and swimming happily

All nice shots, the song sparrow especially so.

Thanks for all the wonderful compliments. I am working on my compositions to make my photos more interesting, but sometimes it doesn't always work out that way.

Nice photos. I can feel the Grebe floating with the motion of the cripsy clear water, very nice.
We saw few Tree Swallows last saturday the 2rd, at the waterfront trail between the city of Pickering and Ajax. They flew so quick that I was unable to get any pictures of them.

Hubby said he saw a swallow today while we were driving and I was like..noooooo..He says he is pretty sure that is what it was.
I will check tomorrow and see if they have arrived at Sam Smith.
