Greetings to all
Mike and I took the long trek down to the Leslie Street Spit and found some great sightings.
The highlight for me was a pair of Canvasbacks in a small pond past the iron bridge.

very nice photos, the canvasbacks breed in that beaver pond, 1 of few spots can have canvasbacks in summer in Toronto

I saw these two last weekend in the main bay. Nice capture of the bright red eye on the male.
