Title: Meadowlarks @ Downsview
Post by: Napper on April 07, 2011, 04:46:00 PM
Hey!

This morning I was walking along one of the hangers looked up and thought my, that is a funny looking Starling.

At break same thing (I wasn't really paying attention). Then At lunch It struck me that the birds I was seeing were

Meadowlarks.  They were hanging around the tracks beside Downsview Park.  There were at least 4 of them and they were

Very vocal the whole lunch period. I assume they were Eastern Meadowlarks. I have my Nat Geo guide in my lap havn't had a chance

to open it yet.

Napper :  :)

p.s. distintive call.  but still starling like.
