I was too close with my fixed lens and didn't have time to adjust but couldn't resist showing these anyway.

Thanks Irene. I don't believe there is a visable difference between the sexes, at least not from these photos.

I did some research on some photos and you are sooo right
its hard to tell them apart.
I am looking forward to seeing them tomorrow when I go, maybe/hopefully I will see some action
I am also hoping to see some other birds...spring is late...so it seems.

Okay, I got it. Photo #2, it's the girl on the right....see how coy she looks. In photo #3 that look says she wants something more. And, alas, in #4 she didn't get it so off she goes, LOL.

I used a fixed f4 500mm with a 1.4 teleconverter which I didn't need for these shots.
