Title: Eastern Meadowlark
Post by: Photoman on March 28, 2007, 10:23:58 PM
Greetings  :D

The Eastern Meadowlarks are back again. Same area and same tree it was perched on last year. I spotted them at my workplace in the Dufferin and Finch area. They're in the hydro feilds on the west side of Alness just north of Finch, Alness is west of Dufferin St. Also saw 4 Turkey Vultures flying around the Bally Fitness building at Dufferin and Finch intersection. Many Mockingbirds too.
Enjoy

Good birding to all

Oooo Eastern Meadowlarks, and this is near where I work.  I'll have to bring my car and camera tomorrow to check them out.  I'll send you a pm for more detailed directions if they are needed.

I saw a meadowlark last Wednesday morning in Downsview Park, in the field at Keele and Sheppard.  A long, tortuous bicycle ride from downtown was made that much more pleasant.
