Title: immature raptor
Post by: Tyger on March 28, 2007, 10:48:31 PM
Hey guys,

I had the pleasure of seeing this raptor in the trees near my work place but I'm not sure what kind it is. My first reaction was an immature redtail, but looks similar to a immature sharpy. Any ideas? I think the yellow around the eyes help the id.

If it was a big bird it probley is a female, in the bird world the smaller is the mail 90 % of the time
