About 45 minutes ago while sitting outside a Black Vulture slowly circled
overhead making it's way eastward following Kingston Road. It was fairly high
up but the white wing tips and tail were easy to see, especially once I ran in
and got the binoculars. The wing flapping was the first clue when I saw it and
then I noticed flashes of silvery white tips.
Where I saw it was just west of the Kingston Road and Midland Avenue
intersection and the bird was travelling slowly eastward. Being late in the
day, it might be looking for a place to stay the night, possibly the
Scarborough Bluffs, Highland Creek, or Rouge Park.
