Title: Thickson Woods Today
Post by: Reg on April 15, 2011, 09:26:20 PM
We took a short walk through Thickson Woods This Afternoon and saw the following Birds,
We also saw Brown Creepers and Both Ruby & Golden Crowned Kinglets, but they were to fast to get
a good shot. The Yellow Bellied Sapsucker was way up in the tree and wouldn't turn around for me
so I could only get his back. All the while the Great Horned Owl kept an eye on us.

Amazing photos! I just love the GHO picture! How far was the GHO up in the tree?

Thanks Mike.
I would say about 20 to 25 feet up.
