I live in Niagara Falls and have been birding here all my life. Just saw a breeding pair of tufted titmouses (titmice?) for the first time this weekend! I was thinking of posting it to Ontbirds but do not really know how others feel about the uncommonness/rarity of this species in Ontario. Perhaps I have just coincidentally had trouble spotting this species my whole life. What are your thoughts? I'd hate to send out a rare bird alert and look like a complete amateur because it is no big deal!

Tufted Titmice are increasing their breeding range in Ontario, are year round now in Niagara, not too big a deal, we have them breeding in Oakville now, are moving further along Lake Ontario
