Title: Northern saw-whet owl (unobstructed shot)

I lucked into this picture.
I literally turned a corner and found this guy.  I only had my 50 mm lens on my camera. These shots are tight crops (I wasn't that close and i use a full frame camera). He slept for the 30 seconds that I stood there.
likely the last NSWO i'll see until the fall. enjoy.

my poor wife...she biked back to the car (long story, but we needed a tow at the Spit...LOL) and i wandered off for 5 min. found it in an unusual spot, to say the least.
