I have removed my photo, due to finding it on the Twitter site. Don't like that idea one bit, since I was never asked if my photos could be put there.

The picture says a lot, with the litter in the background, and the Heron still with a stick in his/her mouth still attempting to build a nest...survival ...

It has never nested at the pond, but along the Grand River. What you see in it's mouth is accually a fish with a leaf.

Sorry about that, I took a quick look, it is a fish! That'll teach me not to wear my glasses eh?
