So, taking a stroll through some woods. I came across this Deer foot as well as some big clumps of fur and a few bitty bone fragments. I was momentarily in awe as I've never seen such a thing before. Kinda wandered through my mind on what really happened... but that's probably from watching Criminal Minds weekly. I hung it on the branch for a better pic than in the muddy grass.

The most law-abiding explanation I can think of is that a hunter dumped the remains there after butchering a deer shot in the hunt last fall.

This was in Bronte Creek Conservation Park and east of the Maiden's Blush Trail.
