Hi everyone. I was walking around Lake Aquitaine this afternoon between 1:30-3:00pm. Sighted the following:
Blue Jay x 1
Canada Goose x 1 (male)
Goldfinches x 2 (1m, 1f)
Grackles - lots
House Sparrows - lots
Mallards x 8 (4m, 4f)
RWBB's - lots of males and females. One male was walking towards me along the top of a wooden barrier, all puffed out, trying to make himself look huge & scary and trilling up a storm! It seems that I wasn't cracking open a shelled peanut fast enough for him!
Robins x 6 - including one female in nest
Lake Aquitaine: SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.
