we had lots over the winter and they left quite  a while ago...except for two...who I see at the feeders regularly. I almost think they may have decided the feed is too good here to leave.
I notice in the breeding atlas that although they mostly breed in more northern areas there are some breeders in southern ontario.
I even have a couple straggler Junko's. Still saw them yesterday

Usually I hear them first, this time it was at the empty feeder looking for seed.   "Rose Breasted Grosbeak".

I just had a few Pine Siskens at the feeders, along with a pair of Indigo Buntings.

I've got siskins at my feeder every day. I had them on and of all winter, and starting in late March, I started getting a male and female pair visiting my feeder everyday. The same pair (likely) is still visiting, and likely have a nest nearby.

They do nest in Southern Ontario, and have nested as far south as Long Point as far as I know.
We've had young at feeders in the London area in June. Not sure if there are any July or August records for Middlesex County though.
