Cool bird! I met people who had just seen it yesterday evening and read about it on ONTBIRDS.
I tend to agree with Alan Wormington's suggestion that it's a Scarlet Tanager affected by xanthochromism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xanthochromism) rather than any type of hybrid. I've seen Rose Breasted Grosbeaks with bright yellow where the red should be (a few years ago).

Great bird to see.
We heard of some at Pelee on our last day, with some Indigo Buntings, but never saw them.
