Title: Avatar quiz

I got my avatar in  - a smaller version of one I use on another similar (in format, not topic) board.  It's very fun to be able to choose your own.

Mine is also a quiz - who can tell what species this is?????
I'll give hints later if no one gets it in a few days.

First hint:
The bird is on the Ontario checklist.

(you can put away those Mongolian field guides)

It looks more like a passerine to me. But I can't come up with a good guess at the moment.
