Great day for warblers in my Leslieville backyard. It's the first time I've ever seen warblers, so was quite excited. Positive IDs on:
yellow
yellow rumped
bay breasted
chestnut sided
black and white
blackburnian
Plus several yellow species that I'm not experienced enough to positively ID (maybe nashville). They move so fast and I don't know well enough what to look for to distinguish species.
May also have had an indigo bunting which was hanging out with the warblers. The bird was blue all over with no discernible white markings, so it's my best guess so far.
