We think that we have Mr. & Mrs. Rose-Breasted Grosbeak. Please confirm that the female is a Rose-Breasted Grosbeak.

Ialso had a different bird in the backyard but couldn't get a photo in time...It was a quite large brown bird with significant orange shoulder patches...I thought it was a Flicker at first, the size was comparable...any idea?
Sad to say the Baltimore Oriole did not come back after my first sighting when I didn't have the 'feeder' up but got it up the next day with orange halves and grape jelly and since then the only 'regular' visitor is a nasty squirrel who eats all the jelly.....Does anyone think the Oriole will return?
