The dark dreary days of late keep me at home. But I find my own entertainment with our feathered friends who are blessing me with their presence. A good list of regulars lately and the return of some Orioles is awesome. Now a pair of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks have been making a number of appearances the last couple days too!
I am going through one large naval orange per day with the Orioles and half a jar of grape jelly in just over a week. I recon the yucky weather of late has them pretty hungry (lack of natural food/late Spring).

Hoping he gets a little more used to my presence and I can get some non-feeder shots of this guy.

You must be really enjoying your backyard. I gave up on feeders due to an over-abundance of squirrels and Grackles but at least I partially live the moment through your great photos.

Why thank you Lloyd. That has to be one of the nicest things ever publically said to me here.
We have Squirrel issues but no real Grackle problems. A pair through the summer, juvis in August. September and October I have seen 50+ stop in for a quick bite but that's about it. I have seen how they can dominate a yard though. Pigeons are my problem though.
I am not much of a traveling man, especially in the summer months so it's really nice to get a variety here and new comers are always thrill.
