Title: Lake Aquitaine and Maplewood Park
Post by: Bird Brain on May 21, 2011, 05:19:13 PM
Hi everyone.  Awesome weather today!  :D

My mom was visiting so we went for a walk around Lake Aquitaine between about 1-2:30pm then walked at Maplewood Park between about 2:30-4pm.

2 new tiny baby Robins at Lake Aquitaine.

Large fish (carp?) swimming around at West end of lake.

3 baby Robins at Maplewood Park are no longer in the nest.

Lots of Cabbage White butterflies at both parks.

Met and had a great conversation with a birder.  Interesting guy!  8)

Lake Aquitaine:  SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.
