Title: Grenadier Pond today
Post by: David the park stroller on April 20, 2007, 04:58:45 PM
Nothing rare but... today we saw both the ruddy duck pair and  the ring-necked duck pair on the pond.  We don't often see them there [in contrast to the usual mix of shovellers, mallards, gadwalls, buffle heads and wood ducks.] Also FOS "tree" swallows winging past... too few and too fast moving to catch in binoc's but I think I'm right on that.  Just a glorious day wasn't it!.
