Bird activity was pretty low at Colonel Sam Smith Park this afternoon when I was there but I managed to find some nice surprises. I heard a Black-billed Cuckoo calling in the woods south of the Power House, so I went to look for it. I never found it, but in the process found a few nice warblers:
Yellow
Magnolia
Redstart
Yellowthroat
Wilson's
Canada and
Mourning.
Also in the same area was an exceptionally pale Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. If he hadn't been calling incessantly, he could have passed for a Least.
