The leaves have filled in, many of the birds are gone through. So what's a nature nut to do? Enjoy the animal babies sightings!
I know they can be little trouble makers but I love Raccoons.

It's noon, shouldn't he be sleeping?

I passed the spot about an hour later and everybody was settled down again. I recon that tree cavity is getting crowded as the babies get bigger.

Hoping for some more cool animal sightings next week during my vacation.
Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoyed the pics!

Love these Rob!!
I'm with you, I can't help but like these little masked bandits and all the mayhem they can cause.
These are some super cute shots.

Thanks Meghan. I knew of them a few weeks back when I heard the all the noise those little guys were making from within the tree. One kept popping his head out and mom kept pulling him back inside. Always nice to see some wildlife in a walk.
We have one big ol' guy that walks through the backyard about 8pm every night. We used to throw peanut butter sandwiches out back when we'd see a mom with her babies.

these are great pxtks for sharing
and indeed they are cute
o/t however, I believe
today they are having a rally in the West End
of Toronto, sure some of you heard about it
about the racoons
in light of this recent event
of hurting the raccoons
I dont believe in this at all
and they should be humanely removed

Yes, I am well aware of this rally. It stems from the story of the man beating a mother Raccoon and her babies with a shovel.
While I too would find it upsetting if they broke into my house, there certainly are better/humane ways to deal with the situation.
I look at these photos and cannot go in my head with what happened at all.
