My husband, Big Frank and I visited the marsh, today. It was a good day. We saw:
Tree and Barn Swallows
1 Chimney Swift
Common Loons
Buffleheads
Gadwalls
Ring-necked, Long-tailed and Ruddy ducks
A. Coots
C. Loons and a GBH flying overhead
Belted Kingfisher
Northern Shovelers
Horned Grebes
Common and Red-breasted mergansers
1 A. Wigeon, Lesser Scaup
Blue-winged Teal
Cooper's and Red-tailed hawks and a Northern Harrier (near the Tim Horton's), TVs
Bonaparte's Gulls
Double-crested Cormorants
Song and Fox sparrows
Horned Larks and a Kildeer in the field stubble
2 Yellow-rumped Warblers
1 Wild Turkey and the usual Chickadees, Red-winged Blackbirds, Mute Swans, Canada Geese, Blue Jays, Mallards, Crows, Goldfinches, Cardinals
