Title: Grebes at Col.Sam Smith
Post by: ravynne40 on June 06, 2011, 09:17:58 AM
The Red-Necked Grebes have built a natural nest at Col.Sam Smith Park, someone told me there was 1 egg, I did not see it but am hoping all goes well!

here's Mama!:

Swimming around like a nervous Papa, was the male, more like patrolling and guarding her:

Great shots Irene, and awesome news.
Same story at Burlington Marina.
Fingers crossed for both couples this year.
