After reading the posting by Mark Cranford on ONTBIRDS yesterday, I decided to check out Lakeside Park to see if I could relocate the HOWA. After about 20 minutes I heard it calling 30 yards south of Lakeshore Rd. West, along the creek. I found it actively hunting insects and calling, unfortunately the low lighting conditions made for some dreary shots.
I observed the bird from 09:45 to 12:15.

Lakeside Park is located in Mississauga southeast of Winston Churchill and Lakeshore Rd. West.

That's very nice. Make sure you submit a few to Carol (photos@ofo.ca).
